Dr. Abed creates a small access hole in the tooth and uses rotary endodontic instruments to gently and efficiently remove infected pulp tissue.
After thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the canals, we prepare the area for a biocompatible filling that helps prevent further infection.
The final step is placing a temporary restoration to protect the tooth as it heals.
In about two weeks, when healing is complete, Dr. Abed will place a crown or permanent filling to protect the tooth and restore full function.
